PostHeaderIcon God Hates Us All

It’s dark out here, like stepping into a tunnel from the harsh midday sun: In front of you is nothing but darkness, behind nothing but the bleaching light. We stand at the cusp of a new age, this connected world struggling to communicate it’s meaning and emotional content to the man on the street, in the cafe, or in the next seat over, kindly provided by your local transit authority as it subsidises a corporate attempt to make you pay to arrive late at your intended destination, using a service that your demanded taxes have sent a percentage of your earnings to pay for.

This new era; this supposed age of enlightenment has brought great democratization to our content, but the price is a lower requirement for quality. We are all free to choose our gods, our drugs, our opiates and poisons. The only price that is exacted on us is our very soul. Thousands of channels, but there’s nothing worth watching. Blink and you’ll miss the odd piece of the worthwhile.

God hates us all, or worse yet doesn’t care. We don’t believe in God because we don’t believe in ourselves. This all powerful being crippled because our concept of him is but a mirror of our failings and insecurities.

We are our God, and what I want to know is; what does that say about us all?
